Google Nest or Amazon Echo?

I’m thinking of getting a virtual assistant for the home. I recently had some interaction with Alexa Echo and quite liked how it helped me. I’m excited by the idea that I can just tell it to add something to a shopping list. I’ve read Alexa can’t do some skills in Australia. Anyway, does anyone have a preference for Google nest or Amazon Alexa?

I love our Google nest but that’s because our whole house is Google.

I have a google nest! It does wonders, and my 3yo has conversations with it everyday haha.

I haven’t tried Alexa but I LOVE my Google home. Definitely recommend!

I dont personally have any. My son has Google nest which seems to do a lot and is quite easy to use

I haven’t tried Alexa but our Google nest is great and has some fun features to play around with. Our kids love asking it questions on educational topics of all sorts.

I don’t use these products, but if I was, I’d go for google. Simply because their products are used more in everyday life and should be more compatible.
