  • A barber is cheaper, but I do it myself and cut all family members including myself…is even cheaper than the barber :)

  • My husband uses a barber who charges $25.00 for a haircut.

  • I don’t know what the procedure is but some Just Cuts shops do both and are very good with children. If you have washed your hair in the last 24 hours, and they don’t have to wash it – you save a few dollars. They don’t do colours etc as far as I know. There are very few barbers around these days. I know one gentleman who goes to one occasionally to get his beard trimmed. Hairdresser’s charges vary a lot. Some charge $40 0r $50 to do what others only charge about $25 for. Despite what some people think often the expensive ones are no better than the cheaper ones. It’s like a lot of things “you pay for the name”.

  • Barbers are normally for men because they don’t style . I have never seen a women sitting in a barbers chair or walk in one to get a haircut my entire life . They are suppose to be cheaper too .

  • i hope my answer was unbiased lol. i am a hairdresser :)

  • yeah up to the person. barber is usually cheaper for family haircuts, they have women working there too! it is great to get in and out especially if you don’t have an appointment. hairdressers give you an experience in the salon and they prefer appointments to get booked. just depends on what you are comfortable with

  • A barber is definitely cheaper!

  • Ladies prefer to go to the hairdresser.

  • I use a hairdresser at a salon thou a barber would be alot cheaper!

  • I go to a hairdresser. I don’t have the same one I go to all the time but plan to find one soon

  • Local hairdresser – service and a smile and coffee and biscuits.
