Hello!

A friend has hand sanitiser at her front door for everyone to use. Should I be doing this too now that I have a baby?

  • With covid it has now become a necessity both when out and at home.

  • I normally only have hand sanitiser in my handbag. Certainly with changing little ones or when you have a cold it’s good to have it handy. Now with Covid19 I also have a bottle handy in the kitchen.

  • I tend to use it when I’m out shopping because you can’t always find a tap.

  • I dont know i never used it with my kids and now there alk grown up and healthy, kids have to discover germs so that they are not immune to
    Anything

  • I have sanitiser on my kitchen bench and use it quite regularly throughout the day, especially after being with the dogs. People are free to use it but I don’t insist on it, although I probably should to be honest

  • I would bother but I did every now and again

  • It wouldn’t hurt to have it there, but I never had people use it with my 3 kids and they were fine.

  • Don’t get me wrong of course I believe in washing your hands after bathroom etc you need to expose your self to some germs or you won’t build your immune system up

  • Coming into Autumn / Winter – if you have a lot of guests, I certainly would!

  • I wouldn’t say it’s a necessity but it’s most definitely handy to have. And I think it’s a good idea for visitors to use when there’s a new baby in the house

  • a little OTT I think but yes its handy when out and about

  • I think it’s a good idea. It would be along the same lines as asking people to take off their shoes at the door.

  • Hmmmm, I never thought about this.

    It’s a personal choice I suppose.

  • Is it a rule that it has to be used or is it just at the front door as a courtesy.

  • I really don’t think they are necessarily!
We have never used it to be honest and our 3 kids are fine.
