  • Distraction,, and treats like ice cream etc to help

  • It is something very strange

  • When you say fit, do you mean like a tantrum?
If so, mine does this too!
She’s 8 months old and is super irritable.
Any little thing that annoys her even the slightest and she goes haywire!!!
I’ve noticed giving her one of those netted socks filled with frozen fruit helps to calm her down even for a short while.

  • Can you describe what type of fit your son has (exact symptoms) and how long it lasts ?

  • No but this sounds horrible. Best of luck and I hope you can find help.

  • No we haven’t, just irritable. I would have it checked to be sure.

  • It can be a distressing time for babies. Try rubbing your finger along his gums to soothe them or teething gel. He might just feel miserable, lots of cuddles and reassurance.

  • It is fairly common especially if baby tends to have a high temperature.
If they hold their breath while crying, they can initially faint then have a convulsion.
