Hi all, I was after some information about the diet that is recommended to follow in order to help concieve a particular gender. Has anyone followed it? Does anyone have a great link to a informative web page?

  • Ooh I have no idea

  • No, I never did. I wouldn’t put too much hope and expectation on it either.

  • To be honest a friend of mine tried the diet, it did not work. I however went by fertility days. If you want a girl have sex on the 5 days leading up to ovulation. If you want a boy do not have sex until the day of ovulation. Male sperm swims quickly but dies off quickly therefore if the egg is already there you can have a boy, female sperm swims slower however can survive in your uterus for five days, therefore if you have not ovulated yet, you will have a girl. I had a girl and wanted a boy and doing it this way had my boy.

  • Apparently the male sperm doesn’t like an acidic environment. I ate a lot of tomatoes before I got pregnant and ended up with a girl.

  • Try this site:
I’d also suggest looking into your fertility days when trying also as this can also help with choosing a particular sex. Good luck!
