It has been rolled out in our area and we have until 26th October to switch to an NBN plan. So far, I have only heard horror stories! Would love some honest feedback (good or bad) to help form an opinion! Thank you!

  • We are still surfing the net without problems. Sorry to hear that some cannot get the NBN in their area.

  • We have been told the NBN will never be available in our area. I’ve heard lots of negatives about, no positives except for comments below

  • So, we have now moved to the NBN and so far so good (touch wood!) Quick install and internet is stable – whew!

  • Telstra send us a NBN modem in the mail and we switched it. We found no difference what so ever which is great as I too have heard some bad stories. I guess it’s just pot luck if you get it good or bad.

  • We switched to the NBN back in July and are with Telstra. We are happy with our landline phone and internet service and have not had any problems.

  • We had a horrible experience and cancelled our contract. We are now with a 4G network called Vivid Wireless and they’re fantastic.

  • We went on to the NBN about 6 months ago , and have not noticed any difference !

  • Thanks for your replies – mostly positive so far – that makes me feel a little better!

  • We’ve had NBN for probably 3/4 months and no dramas.

  • We moved to NBN here in regional WA something like 5 months ago, with Telstra. No problem at all.

  • I have it on satellite. I was told I had to get it wasn’t given the whole story on download sizes and prices but all that sorted and I found it maybe slightly faster. At the start it dropped out constantly but not so much now. Not sure about the cable version. All in all it is a bit faster and now their uping the download amounts for the same cost.
