  • Yep, There was some ok stuff on there. I particularly enjoyed “The Great” but we went back to Netflix for the time being. We swap depending on what we want to watch at the time.

  • Grab the free trial period and give it a shot, I think it depends on the type of shows you enjoy. We had it for only a few months before we switched to Netflix and then added Disney. Honestly though there is so much content on the free streaming channels like ABC ivew and SBS on Demand that I’m considering dropping Netflix altogether!

  • We’ve had it about 2 months. We like the extra kids shoes and there’s some great content for adults too. You can try it for free or do a few months and pause it if you’ve run out of things to watch.

  • Yes! I tend to watch Stan or ABC iView while my child is at school and I’m pottering around the house. There’s a range of other things, including Disney content that Netflix doesn’t have, lots of Nikolodeon shows, as well as Aussie content.

  • We are a Stan household! We have Netflix but the kids much prefer Stan- they love all the Disney and Nickelodeon shows and movies! There are a few funny sitcoms for grown ups on there too!

  • I’m a big Stan fan too! Between that and Netflix my family is set! Disney movies galore on there (although that might change when the new official Disney streaming service drops soon). You can always check out the free one month trial and see if it’s work keeping before committing any of your hard earned dollars?

  • Yes and love it!

  • I use Stan and Netflix I swap between the 2. My youngest loves Stan because of all the Disney movies

  • Loved all the marvel, but otherwise we didn’t enjoy it and ceased our subscription as we never watched it

  • I know a family who have tried a few pay TV channels. Their final decision was Netflix. It has more programs suitable for young children and is also better value for money including the fact you pay less each money and doesn’t stretch the budget as much

  • We only watch Freeview or buy DVDs.

  • Stan has some really good shows but really do prefer Netflix that is when I do get sometime to watch it hahaha

  • Yes! We have it. I think I prefer it to Netflix (although it’s been 2 years since I had Netflix), but we mostly use it for kids’ shows and movies (it has an enormous kids selection). IT has a good range of homegrown stuff.
One thing I dislike about it is the lack of documentaries. Netflix definitely wins there!

  • I prefer to buy DVDs rather than pay a subscription fee for a bunch of shows I might not want or have time to watch.

  • Yep, the kid’s live it because it has all their favourites on it as well as stuff for us grown ups. Much prefer Stan for the kids over Netflix.
