Hello!

I keep getting the free Windows10 update popping up on my computer screen but I keep rejecting it. I’m thinking it might not be very user friendly or be a incompatible format like Vista was. How is everyone finding it?

  • My daughter is on Windows 10 and has not experienced any problems. She does tell me there are lots of updates though.

  • Nothing but problems!
    DONT DO IT
I cant even play those solitaire games or mahjong anymore because the only games it has a stupid apps you have to buy like on a phone.

  • My mum has it and it’s caused a lot of issues

  • I’m on window 10. I’m looking at my son and daughter going umm did u guys just touched the computer without asking? they are both looking at me like no…so I have window 10.. its ok so far, it is slow opening up documents, its like I’m having to adjust like on the phone when facebook have updated their website or Instagram too.. just a bit of adjusting and finding where things are.
    so far I’m still here.

  • Based on the responses so far, I’m definitely not going to update to Windows 10.

  • I haven’t done it, just from what I’ve heard from others, not worth doing.

  • I have had a few issues with it and i seem to have to have to reset the computer every couple of weeks to a previous version of it.. I wish it would fix its self as its getting annoying… Im over it everytime it updates automatically……..

  • Both my daughter & brother updated 2 windows 10 sweetheart my brother has loads of trouble with it & my daughter wants her, windows 8 back darling she said 2day she hates it so much she’s stopped using her computer

  • Our computer updated to Windows 10 on it’s own, but Hubby blamed me & I blamed him! We are having a lot of problems with it. Hopefully our son can either resolve the problems or put us back to Windows 7 this weekend.

  • We updated to Windows 10 and ended up switching back!!
We hated it, we couldn’t work out how to use it properly, and it made our laptop run a lot slower.
We will be sticking with Windows 7, it’s a lot easier to use for us.

  • I’m still on Windows 7 and happy with it, so I won’t be changing to Windows 10.

  • It’s ok. It does take some adjusting to. Things change, for example I now have to log in to my emails every time, that’s new. It’s different getting into the Internet etc. But they’re all things I’ve worked thru

  • Maybe some forums have answers to some of these questions too, may be worth searching for them for IT answers?

  • I have prevented accepting too as I ve equally heard mixe4d reports about it, including the odd placement where the items are placed. I have used it at my College but find it not all that user friendly. I guess we will need to use it adventurely, but I wonder why they are offering it for free, what is the catch??

  • I downloaded the free windows 10 and I hate it, I can’t find anything, my advice is don’t do it. I can’t get Internet explorer to work at all and have to now use google chrome, which I don’t like because it seems to put a lot of things on my computer.
