Has anyone used egg donation to have a baby?

Hello!

My husband and I were told after 7 attempts at IVF our best outcome would be via egg donation or surrogacy with the cost of surrogacy it isn’t an option but egg donation is as long as it’s an altruistic or known donor. I guess I looking for someone with personal experience who can point me in the direction of at least looking for a donor or a group or support network

I have two donor egg boy’s 3 & 2 years old, I also have a 27 year old biological son & I can honestly say that I feel no differently about any of them. They are all my “son’s” & I love them all equally. We found our wonderful egg donor on http://www.eggdonorangels.com.au that is a website created by a woman who was struggling to find an egg donor for herself. It is set up so that you can place an ad on there for a donor, but you can also read through ads that donor’s have placed & contact them directly. There are also egg donor angels facebook groups set up which offer great advice & support from other’s in your position. I wish you all the very best of luck on your journey

My cousin has a 5 month old little boy after undergoing this procedure. She says it’s the best thing she’s ever done
