Hello!

I’m 34 weeks with third. Sitting on the couch when all of a sudden I get a gush of water. Go to the toilet but don’t need to go but decided to put a pad on I’m still getting trickles and if I cough its trickles even more. I have always gone overdue but never had more than a small gush when my waters go so I’m confused! Is this my water breaking?

  • Go to the hospital immediately . It broke !

  • why the hell are you posting on MoM??? Get to a Dr

  • I’d be getting to a hospital. Good luck!!

  • Call your midwife straight away!! It sounds like it could be.

  • if you are concerned call the hospital – if they have broken you are at high risk of infection.

  • Hoping you have had it checked out by now. And wishing you all the very best. :-)

  • I’d definately say so!!!!! Waters can break and leak over a period of time- they don’t always just all come out in one go. Definately go down to your hospital for a check. Good luck!!!

  • Yep I’d say they have.Keep that pad in place & get in contact with your midwife/hospital/Dr

  • A girlfriend had this happens it turned out not to be her waters, the pressure of baby so low made her lose control of her bladder. Best of luck

  • Possible. Maybe give the hospital a call and speak with a midwife. Worth getting it looked at…
