Hello!

I recently heard that taking paracetemol whilst pregnant can be dangerous for the unborn baby. What are pregnant women supposed to take for headaches?

  • Pretty sure you can take paracetamol in moderation but if you are worried then make sure you are well hydrated and getting plenty or rest. Sometimes just shutting your eyes for ten minutes can make a huge difference. Also if you massage in between your thumb and index finger that can help with headaches.

  • I actually often use tiger balm on my temples when having a headache.
Another option is a totally herbal pain remedy like Nageze Every Day, which is totally naturally derived.

  • I was in hospitable whilst pregnant with my second as hurt my back.at work the midwife offered Panadol at 26 weeks…..I didn’t take anything with mtv1st even for headache but took it with number 2. Whatever you put into your body you put into your babies blood stream…

  • I think you can take panadol when pregnant – you can’t take cold and flu tablets though. IF you are worried, you could google pressure points in your body that might help – i know there is one in between your thumb and index finger.
