Hello!

I take magnesium daily, I have increased my water intake. I am a well controlled diabetic. Oh I’m allergic to quinine. Is there anything anyone can suggest to help take away the leg cramps I experience?

  • try to get more vit d if possible

  • I’m not sure what your allergy is but magnesium and caltrate are meant to help. I had leg cramps at night during pregnancy and obs said take caltrate

  • I suffer from this too. It’s yuck.

  • I found gentle massage and leg stretches before bed helped and also wearing socks to bed. I’m not sure why the socks help but they really do – with both cramps and restless legs.

  • I get really bad restless legs and leg cramps particularly of an evening. My doctor wanted to put me on tablets for it but I was hesitant in taking them. I am currently taking multivitamins and reducing my caffeine intake. Also relaxing an hour or so before bed destressing helps. I would talk to your doctor.

  • I read your question and quickly scrolled down to read some of the answers…..and there aren’t any :( My hubby suffers too and I would love some hints and tips to deal with them. Or preferably stop them
