I’m trying to find the one my grandma used to make, fluffy easy and yum! I would love to know your best scone recipe!

  • Self raising flour, 300 mls cream and approx the same of lemonade. Mix, but don’t over mix. Roll out and cut into rounds. Bake approx 12 mins at 200*C. Should come out delectable, crunchy brown on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Slather on jam and whipped cream, aaahhh heaven


  • Buy the scones from bakery, mine turn out mediocre .


  • Lemonade scones are a winner. I’ve replaced lemonade with lemon and they turned out great too.

  • I love so many different scone recipes; my favourite is a recipe made with lemonade; as the scones are always light and fluffy. I love savoury scones too! Plenty of good recipes for scones in the recipes section; including the lemonade recipe. Happy baking! :)
