  • Thailand, Bali, Fuji from what I hear. I have family oversees so when we travel oversees it is to see them (the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Zimbabwe).
My friend went to Dubai with the kids and thought it was great too

  • Queensland & Bali japan NZ can’t go wrong!

  • There are so many places – depends what you want from your holiday. Toddlers don’t need heaps of entertaining as such, so maybe wait until they are older for places like the Gold Coast. • We spent six months living in Thailand last year with our then two-year-old daughter and it was fantastic! The Thais are very accommodating and love children. Everything you need for your toddler can be easily purchased over there so you don’t have to pack too much and you should be able to prearrange a cot where-ever you stay, at no extra cost (providing your toddler is happy to sleep in one).

  • Zagame’s Gold Coast paradise resort! My boys loved it! … Unless you live on the GC, then I guess it’s not such a good holiday lol

  • Anywhere that has a beach works wonderfully for my toddler. We usually stay in a caravan park on the coast and he has a ball each day in the sand.

  • We’ve been to Fiji twice. If you stay in a resort there is so much for the kids to do and if the kids are old enough for kids club they’ll love it. The Fijian people love children and you would be really comfortable leaving them with a nanny if you wanted to. In terms of fares children under 2 fly free but they don’t get a seat, they have to sit on your lap.

  • You can fly overseas before children turn 2 and get better fare deals (10% or better / free? but it was a while since I looked) so might be a chance to see somewhere different! Of course you have to adjust schedules and expectations to fit in with children where ever you go (as you would even going locally). Having good accommodation (separate room for parents/kids) made the biggest difference since it gave some adult space when they were asleep!

  • I go with Fiji Islands too. People are very friendly, in the resorts that so many activities for kids and adults, food is good, great prices…

  • Fidji – some hotels have lovely activities for kids and swimming pools as well as play areas. Some also provide nannies to have a date with your partner/hubby. If you like a particular nanny she can look after your little ones for the rest of your stay.
