Hello!

Please if anyone has a good home remedy to help comfort my little boy’s tonsils while we are on the waiting list to see ENT specialist – please share. It is constant, nothing seems to help and the rules are not like they used to be.

  • Warm water with lemon and honey, a kind of tea.

  • Strepsils anti bacterial and anaesthetic cough lollies. They kill germs and numb the throat. Or there’s good old ice cream, I’m sure he’ll love that :))))

  • All of the obove .. But I tend to have icicle pops on hand in the freezer to suck on .. Helps

  • Honey is good for the throat, or give him cold things like ice cream or yoghurt.

  • get him to suck of ice and also honey is good for soothing the throat

  • I hope you’ve been able to see the ENT. I find sometimes a hot milo can help soothe a sore throat.

  • Did you find something that worked?

  • Ice cream, custard, yoghurt, ice blocks.. Warm honey and lemon drink?

  • did you find anything for him?

  • Ice-cream or frozen fruit pops (for the cold numbing) or maybe honey in a warm drink will sooth.

  • Hope all is well and he gets to see the specialist soon.

  • How long now before he gets a tonsillectomy?

  • honey may work, or warm salty water

  • I hope you have found some helpful suggestions here.

  • Hope some of the advice given has helped.
