Hello!

Does anyone have a proven recipe for homemade face paint for kids with sensitive skin please?

  • I’m not sure about the sensitive skin, but I make my own because I don’t like my kids having all those chemicals on their skin. I use these ingredients: corn flour, face cream, 1/4 teaspoon vegetable oil, natural food colouring.
Mix together equal parts corn flour and face cream until it forms a thick mixture. Add vegetable oil, which helps the paint from caking. You want things to be smooth without being too watery.
Add a spoonful of the mixture to a container and add a few drops of natural food colouring. Mix well. Avoid their eyes though and be careful as some of the colours can stain white clothes.

  • no but this makes me curious! maybe you could make something flour based. might have to google this one.

  • Our daughter needed medical assistance following reaction to face paint. She hasn’t asked for any since and is not upset by this. She has, on a few occasions opted for a very small butterfly on the back of her hand, or nothing at all.
