  • Yeah I’m starting to get oily skin and pimples – didn’t even have this issue as a teen. I’m finding washing my face with hot water helps wash the oiliness away. I sometimes use facial skincare products designed for this.

  • Your doctor can help you with this,it could be a hormone issue.

  • Some people say cutting out dairy helps with acne breakouts. There are also face masks and charcoal cleansers. There’s also a company called tbh that has acne treatments that are quite good.

  • Yep. I use proactiv.

  • I know of friends that have this issue and have tried various products for tackling acne. I think products work differently for each person. Might be a case of trial and error.

  • Have you tried the tea tree products from the Body Shop? I love them. They cleared up my skin amazingly.

  • Pro-active has worked for many Adults I know suffering with Acne. Good luck.

  • When the weather gets warmer, if possible, go to the beach. The salt water really helps.

  • Apple cider vinegar with the mother in it. So it’s the murky stuff. Put a splash in a bowl, add warm water and dab over acne with cotton ball.
Do this morning and night as a cleanser. Don’t moisturise over acne. Leave clear.
Hopefully after a week or so you’ll notice diminished acne.

Drink few mouthfuls of warm lemon water in mornings before eating. For a flush first thing.

  • To start get yourself a good Cleanser and exfoliant, both with AHA/BHA’s in them. Also keep super hydrated. But a visit to a skin clinic might be on the cards if it is really bad and won’t go away. x
