  • I’ve never made one myself, but I’ve seen them around. Apparently you just need lots of jars that are full of lollies. The jars you can get from anywhere. Old Moccona coffee jars are quite attractive. You can shoosh them up with stickers, ribbons, paint etc

  • Buy discounted lollie jars when ever you see them, I also go to the markets or a wholesaler lollie warehouse and buy lollies in bulk

  • Cheap shops are a godsend for creativity! You can find gorgeous bowls and scoop spoons which make it have that lolly selective feel! A chocolate fountain/popcorn machine maybe worthwhile and I’ve even seen churro makers too! A big hit lately are donut walls!

  • My daughter in law did a lolly table for my daughters 21st. She just used decorative jars, scoops, lolly bags……..people were impressed! Maybe because they’ve never seen one before

  • You can get different shaped decorative lollies jars and scoops and put cute labels on them, a little blackboard, and write “sweets”, loot bags for your guests to put there lollies in.You could also pick a colour theme to match your hens.

  • I think to think its a thing for kids but in reality i get more out of it than my kids haha thanks for the advice. Ill have a look at big w as i should be going there within the next few days

  • Lol, I never heard of a lolly table ! Is this for adults ? Investing in a chocolate fountain is worthwhile. We like to make our own healthy raw chocolate and serve it with fruit as a special birthday breakfast :) It’s always a big hit at birthday parties as well.

  • You are welcome for the answer and I hope you manage to find some cheap lolly jars and lollies. With Halloween coming up I have noticed cheap lollies in places like Big W and other big stores – you might find some deals there? I was lucky to get free scoops and labels and other bits and pieces when I bought my lolly jars as the the person on buy, swap and sell wanted to get rid of the items as they were taking up room. The K Mart suggestion is a good one too. :)

  • Thanks ladies. I will have a look on some buy swap sell pages and check out kmarts range. I have noticed that the jars can be expensive and im just hoping i can try and keep the cost down as lollies these days arent that cheap.

  • Kmart have a lovely range of lolly buffet items that looks pretty but aren’t very expensive.

  • I have not done a lolly table but I did buy some gorgeous lolly jars that were used for a lolly table on buy, swap and sell pages. These jars can be quite expensive and I bought them for a fraction of the price. I often see these for sale on these pages and they come with lots of the trimmings and extras. It may help to save $$$. I agree with the chocolate fountain comment/answer – they are heaps of yummy fun! :)

  • Ohh i didnt even think of a chocolate fountain. Now i really want one. Thanks for the great suggestions.

  • you can hire or buy large holders from party shops or some large lollie suppliers and fill them with whatever you want.. as well as chocolate fountains.(or for this you could just buy them for yourself and use it again at the wedding(it might come off cheaper)…
