Depends on how bad your sickness is I suppose. I ended up having to get something from the doctor to help with the nausea with my first. It helped a little, but even with it, I was still constantly nauseous, just not to the same severity. I’m currently 7weeks with #2 and the nausea so far isn’t as bad, but I still have to ensure I don’t get hungry, dehydrated, avoid certain smells, and for those infrequent times just a small savoury snack helps. I tried ginger but it is one of those smells and tastes that sets me off, so not a help for me personally
As I was on progesterone mine was pretty bad and I found that wearing the accupressure bands helped (which I would only notice what I would forget to put them back on after a shower).
Ginger beer and weekly acupuncture sessions also helped.
I found I needed to avoid getting hungry. I also had to avoid strong smells like garlic. I found dry toast before I got out of bed helped in the morning
