  • You build a routine around the waking feeding bathing and sleeping time of your baby in combination with activities you have to do yourself. If you have for example more children and they need to be dropped off at school and you have to bring baby along, then the school drop off becomes part of the routine. Babies need routines for many things in life; eating, going to the bathroom, playtime etc. These routines are useful as babies are always most comfortable when they know what is going to happen next. While having a stiff schedule is impossible in most households, a baby’s day can be regulated and your baby will become more settled.

  • Good luck with that! Just when you think you’ve got a routine happening, it all changes again
