Hello!

I don’t like to use many beauty products at all on my skin but want it to stay healthy.

  • Exercise and diet play a big part in the health of our skin.

  • I use a lot of coconut oil, to clean, protect and feed my skin. And for my face I make a cream of Shea Butter, coconut oil and olive oil.

  • I agree , if you want natural products, you may want to try organic skincare. There are so many brands to choose from such as Sukin, Trilogy etc. that has no harsh ingredients so pop into a pharmacy or dept store for a browse.

  • Thanks all for your suggestions!

  • what about sorbelene? what is in that?

  • I try to use as many chemical free beauty products where possibly too.

  • One of the biggest ageing things is the sun. To avoid chemicals you could get a very affordable invisible zinc from a pharmacy or the supermarket. The other thing is hydration. For hydration you can use something as simple as sorbelene cream, which is very neutral and often recommended by dermatologists as a moisturiser for people suffering from skin conditions. If you wanted an evening mask to keep your skin supple you could try rosehip oil, which I put on overnight and rinse the next day. It is very oily but worth it. I have also popped a vitamin E capsule before and used its contents as a skin mask. If you wanted to you could use something as simple as olive oil in the evening. I’ve also used bio oil, which is great as well.
