Hello!

I am a swim teacher and once a week I teach in a chlorinated pool (othr times a teach in salt water), which dries my skin. Is there anything I can put on my skin before I get in the pool to help protect my skin?

  • I always use the johnsons baby oil before going in pools and let it dry before swimming it leaves skin soft and moisturised

  • I can imagine how drying the water can be especially all the chlorine in the pools. Probably best to use a very good intensive moisturiser for the face and body . I am currently using Dermal Therapy very dry skin lotion and it is so soothing and moisturising . It is great for itchy dry sensitive skin as well .

  • not sure but i used tanning oil a long time ago and it didn’t really wash off in the pool. maybe it is a start for something to coat your skin.
