  • I hope you have been able to get some assistance and support and your hair has stopped falling out.

  • my hair is so thin and its always on the sink and floor and brushes arrrhh will talk to my gp next time I visit him

  • I suggest checking with your GP as there can be many reasons for hair loss.

  • My baby is now 3.5 months and my hair is falling out like crazy. All my friends who have had kids before tell me that it’s going to fall out heaps more but it will be exactly like it was pre pregnancy

  • It can be stress but do see a doctor plz to make sure, might be vitamins or iron deficiency.

  • Stress can cause hair to fall out. Hormones and high oestrogen can also cause hair loss. Best to check with your doctor. maybe get a blood test to check if all your levels are normal.

  • Feel for you, i’m pretty much in the same boat as you and reading answers here xx

  • It could be many reasons. Mine fell out in chunks about 6 months after each child. Also after weight gain and while using head n shoulders shampoo.
Now I use diatomaceous earth daily which is full of silica which is awesome for hair skin and nails. Make sure it is food grade though. My hair and skin is already intriguing after 3 weeks of use

  • I had the same problem after each of my kids were born. Believe me when I say you will not go bald. I have 6 kids. Just ride it out. During pregnancy your hair doesnt fall out thats why people say pregnant woman’s hair looks so full and lush.so, after your baby is born the hair that would have fallen out now does. It will definitely ease soon.☺

  • See at Doctor, could be any number of reasons – the ones that the other mums have given you or even menopause.

  • I would be going to see my local GP and asking for blood tests hope everything goes well

  • Following… I had a baby 4 months ago and still lose a fair bit. I have googled and I am thinking mine is because of low iron which I know I struggle with. Will be making a docs appointment I think.

  • I’d get to the doctors quick as you might be missing an inportant nutrient etc. Have you recently had a baby, because hair falling out is quite normal for a new mum.

  • Are you stressed? A great deal of stress can cause ones hair to fall out. I would go to your doctor and talk to them about it, or a hairdresser, they may also have some ideas as to why.

  • Are you pregnant or has just given birth. When I gave birth and had hormonal changes my midwife gave me a heads up that it might happen for a couple of weeks. Just in the shower I lost a handful. Dont wirry I didnt go bald. It just passed. I used baby shampoo and not too hot water for shower and bought a detangling brush ☺
