Hello!

My normally easy going son is teething and as such he is grumpy, not sleeping, has nappy rash and is generally just having a rough time. Children’s Panadol doesn’t seem to be helping. Do you have any tips?

  • I gave my daughter so much Panadol when she started teething, I thought for sure there must be a better long-term option.

I ended up using Brauer teething relief from the natural health store. You give it on a consistent basis but it really helped.

On the other hand, I was using an all natural baby powder and she had terrible nappy rash which rash cream never fixed. So I swapped for good old Johnson and Johnson baby powder and piled it on after every nappy change. Cleared up in a couple of days.

  • Our health nurse and doctor both recommended alternating Panadol and nurofen .. and I found this to be the only thing that worked. As they don’t contain the same ingredients they can be taken within a few hours of each other and therefore bub gets relief more often. It’s completely safe and has worked for many of my friends’ bubs too.
