What do you do when your in a stressful situation that helps to relieve the stress in that moment?

  • I just try to take a deep breath. And if I don’t have to actually do anything to deal with the situation, think about something else.


  • Our 9yr old has a disorder and we experience an extremely stressful time with her since some years now. I agree that taking a deep breath, walk away for a moment, soak up the sun, put music up and sing, or when you’re physical do 100 star jumps, and protect you me time where you can are very helpful.


  • Take a deep breath and give yourself a ‘time out’ and remember don’t take everything personally. Nothing last forever, you don’t have to hang on to the stress. Find something to ground yourself and release the tension you will have energy to manage one step a time. Take care, Missey.


  • interested in responses too as i suffer anxiety and stress can send me running to the toilet to throw up! hope for some good solutions.


  • I take deep breaths and remind myself that whatever is causing me stress will one day just be a distant memory.
