  • try ice cubes, you can only get a lttle out at a time but it works for me, you just rub it on the spot that needs a little work and pick it off as it clumps up. it does take a bit of time but the results are worth it…

  • I have got out stains using bicarb and vinegar and it has worked before . Normally new stains should be removed immeditalely as the longer it stays the harder it will to get out . Also do not rub on carpet but dab with a cloth as rubbing will damage the quality of the material . I have also used carpet stain remover which I have purchased from the supermarket and I think there is even an environmentally free one . So take a browse at your local one .

  • good luck I’ve never been able to get rid of this!!

  • Most slime type products can be removed (after picking out all the hard dried up bits) with soapy water – just keep dabbing and squeezing out spunge until it goes. It’s s slow process, but could work. It’s the colour that is usually the biggest issue. Also, dab, don’t rub, or else you will damage the carpet.

  • I would get in touch with a carpet salesperson. They can usually provide some advice as to what works best for different stains on different carpets.

  • I would try something that will absorb. If it is a big enough section I would try talcum powder on a small section and see if it will absorb it. You may need to ask a carpet sales person for advice. methods can vary according to the fibres used in the manufacture of the carpet. If you still have the container maybe there is instructions on it.
