  • i find it easier when my daughters hair is wet. if its dry and cant be wet i use a leave in conditioner/treatment or a detangling spray with a detangling brush.

  • I’d suggest using better conditioner, or you can buy hair oils that help with tangles.

  • I use a lot of conditioner to brush them out. I also brush my kids hair when they are conditioning it in the bath. Much earlier. If you have bigger kids get them a wide tooth comb and brush their hair in the shower whilst they are conditioning it.

  • Try a tangle teezer brush. They aren’t cheap but they work well

  • I always used conditioner after shampooing. Then I had a spray that detangled pretty well. I brushed hair when it was wet so the knots didn’t dry and set. Then I used to plait it before bed to avoid excess knots

  • Use a special conditioner and use special brush

  • I do use baby oil.

  • Michel Mercier detangling brushes work really well for me. Gets out knots without pain or hair breakage.

  • Definitely keeping hair shorter, also trimming regularly helps as split ends make tangles quicker. Always having detangle spray and detangle brush on standby

  • Fine hair is a nightmare with tangles best to put conditioner in and either plait it or tie it up overnight whilst they sleep. Shampoo and condition again in the morning before combing through.

  • leave in conditioner. There are even some ones with cute little kids ones with kids characters.

  • Detangler brush

  • Get a kid version tangleteezer brush , my daughter is 3 years old and we have been using the tangle teezer brush to detangle her hair since she’s very little , works like a gem! She has very fine and long hair , can’t imagine brushing without it .

  • Use a spray in conditioner and a LOT of patience!

  • I use a detangling spray – a Pantene one. I also have to keep my daughters hair shorter than shoulder length at the moment to keep it under control.
