  • Cranberry Juice is highly recommended for this but go see your GP as well to be safe

  • To treat a UTI without antibiotics, people can try the following home remedies:

Stay hydrated. Drinking water regularly may help to treat a UTI. …
Urinate when the need arises. …
    Drink cranberry juice. …
    Use probiotics. …
    Get enough vitamin C. …
Wipe from front to back. …
    Practice good sexual hygiene.

However when these are not effective; go to the GP, you may need Antibiotics.
When left untreated, the infection from a UTI can actually move throughout the body—becoming very serious and even life threatening. If you do not treat a bladder infection, it may turn into a kidney infection, which can then result in a more serious infection that’s moved into the blood stream.

  • I would go see a dr to find out how serious it was, you may need anti biotics. To avoid them in the future, I’ve heard drinking cranberry juice daily is meant to be reall good.

  • Drink lots and lots and lots of water to flush out your system!

  • Hope you find all the answers you’re looking for

  • Not much. But if they happen regular u need to get ultrasound on kidneys!

  • If its really bad go to the doctor. I once had one spread to my kidneys and it wasn’t pleasant. Very painful. I was told to prevent them make sure you’re drinking lots of water, and get up and wee after sex ;)

  • To keep them away tons of water as well

  • cranberry juice and heaps of water

  • Make a doctors appointment, but in the meantime heaps of water!

  • lots of water & cranberry juice. But you may require medical attention

  • lots of water and cranberry juice but should def see doc as will prob need antibiotics as well

  • If its not going away with water and OTC stuff, you probably should see a dcotor

  • Usually with antibiotics, your doctor should be able to help.

  • without antibiotics, I find drinking plenty of water and buying some ural from the chemist always helps
