  • Iceblocks and nurofen but there is also teething gel you can buy

  • Oh no! You can give her a cold popsicle to suck on and help alleviate the soreness

  • Some nurofen or paracetamol about 20mins before putting them to bed might help alleviate some of the teething pain.

  • If your bub is really uncomfortable nurofen is great, otherwise lots of cooled chewy toys – My little one loved chewing on a damp, cold face washer. A gentle massage on their gums can also help. Hang in there it does get easier..

  • Chewy toys to chew on. Maybe ask a gp for more advice and to get a check up,

  • Bepanthan is good to sooth sore gums and give her a little relief. I also used to use Infants Friend, which is good for teething and wind pain. As to having a break from her during the day – have you already established a sleep routine? If not, that will probably be difficult to do while she is already teething and suffering discomfort. I was always taught eat, play and then sleep. So try doing something with her that’s really stimulating – crafts, games, play dough and then if she is looking tired try laying her down. She will probably cry at first, but it’s important to not give in and try to teach her self-soothing.

  • Oh that’s so hard! Dymadon and nurofen are our best friends while teething, and giving a nice warm bottle of milk before a nap as they’ll probably be off food with sore teeth/gums

  • Bonjela, cold teething rings even cold fruit, nurofen if it’s really bad as that’s an anti-inflammatory.
I also use a essential oils blend for teething from tiny tonics.

  • Rub your baby’s gums. Use a clean finger or wet gauze to rub your baby’s gums. …
Keep it cool. A cold spoon or chilled — not frozen — teething ring can be soothing on a baby’s gums. …
    Try an over-the-counter remedy.
