Hello!

I am trying to strike a certain plant but don’t want to break a piece off unless you can strike it.

  • I’ve been able to identify plants by googling various features of the plant. Otherwise I’d take a piece to my local plant nursery.

  • So many great answers, and I am unsure if it was mentioned, but you could try reverse image search from a photo of it too maybe.

  • Just snap a small piece off, see how it goes. It won’t hurt

  • Agree with the answers already listed here. The people at our local nursery are amazing with what they know.

  • Local nursery, google, and if still not able to identify in South Australia we can take a cutting to the botanic gardens and they will identify it for you.

  • Your local nursery will be able to advise you. If you don’t want to break a bit off, take a clear photo, including a close-up of the leaves and they should be able to tell you.

  • or even take a photo of it, maybe they will be able to identify and help

  • I am not much of a green thumb, wander down to your local nursery and talk to them aboutit
