Hello!

Have been using our towels for a while and they are starting to get hard and rough. Are there any ways to get or keep our towels fluffy?

  • Mix half a cup of baking soda along with less normal detergent for fluffier and cleaner towels. Baking soda also naturally eliminates musty and mildew smells that come from towels remaining damp for too long.

  • I wash my towels everyday Yes call my silly but I find that if you leave them too long and dont wash them they intend to go disgusting so Now I wash them everyday and they are soft and fluffy no fabric softner required

  • It could just be the water in your area? We have rainwater as our water supply, I add fabric softener to every wash and try to wash them on a windy day. All contribute to lovely soft towels

  • Does fabric softener work?

  • I use fabric softener and hang them out on a windy day, the wind blowing them around helps make them soft

  • so fabric softener and dryer… I will give that a go thank you!

  • light wash and fabric softener

  • Only use a little fabric softener as a little goes a long way.

  • use fabric softener and hang them to dry in the shade as the sun will make them hard. get them off the line as soon as they are dry. Wash only the towels together

  • Bring them in from outside as soon as they are dry, otherwise they do get rough and will exfoliate skin!

  • I use a dryer as also and the towels are fluffy!

  • Using a dryer really helps.
