  • If your little one is feeding, sleeping, having wet nappies and seems content enough then I’d say there’s a good chance they’re eating enough. When you go for check ups with the maternal child health nurse they’ll weigh bubs and take all the measurements to make sure that they’re growing as they should.


  • Regular check ups with your health care provider/community nurse who will weigh baby and let you know if weight gain is normal.


  • Plenty of wet nappies, gaining reasonable weight and generally happy/alert when they need to be.


  • If newborn diaper is full enough it means he or she is getting enough feed if baby is not crying more it means feed is enough
