Hello!

Does anyone know how to make your belly button appear less saggy after pregnancy. After my 1st bubba it’s all stretchy and saggy some days it’s worse and my belly button pokes out. I hate it :(

  • Proactive steps;
    Lie on your back, place your feet flat on the floor, and bend your legs.
    Pull your belly button in toward your spine and lift your pelvis off the floor.
    Tighten your buttocks and hold for 5 seconds.
    Aim for 5 sets of 20 repetitions.
    Do realize that Diastasis recti is a common condition in pregnant and postpartum people. It occurs when the rectus abdominis muscles (six-pack ab muscles) separate during pregnancy from being stretched. The separation can make a person’s belly stick out or bulge months or years postpartum.

  • Surgery i would think. I wouldn’t do it

  • Lol, sorry for laughing, but isn’t it amazing the things we stress about? Honestly, you’re probably the only one who notices, so stop worrying

  • Also if sagginess is confined to the belly button you might want to get GP to check it out in case there is some hernia etc.

  • Definitely a problem.. but cream really does help.. just be patient. I should have started immediately but waited almost 10 years, however, have seen improvement and it’s only getting better.. but slow.. and I’m still searching for the perfect product. Things like vitamin A, E are important and making sure your own collagen production is in top gear with good diet. Some anti-ageing creams have compounds that stimulate cell turn over and I think they might help too (but expensive). Can try making your own (from paprika of all things). Good luck… exercise helps too, but again a slow road.

  • I’d love to know! I used to have the perfect belly button and flat stomach, but after my first it’s a deflated balloon and I can fold all the loose skin into an origami swan. I think surgery is my only option, hope you find an alternative.

  • You don’t really explain whether it’s surface sag or underlying sag. Skin toning cream for surface sag and abdominal exercises for underlying sag

  • Have you tried doing sit ups? Maybe doing them constantly will help.

  • Exercising the core abdominal muscles helps as does overall toning up. Good luck with it.

  • Get into the gym and start toning,

  • Im sorry I have not experienced this, but good luck in finding a good solution. I hope one of the other mums can help you. :)

  • Thanks

  • work out those abs! you will tone up a bit but it will never be the same. be happy that after having a baby, that is all you are concerned about lol. please don’t worry about it, i’m sure it is fine
