  • I use a knife or vegetable peeler

  • Depends on where I use it for. But yes you can thinly peel it with a sharp knife or scrub it and use it with peel.

  • I find it easiest with a vegetable peeler and then use it grated or thinly sliced in my cooking

  • I slice the skin off with a knife. It depends on what you’re using it fir ad to whether you choose to perl it or not

  • I keep it with all of the herbs and spices and use it as necessary – grated or thinly sliced.

  • I try to cut a square-looking part off and then chop the skin off thinly. But I also have a jar of minced ginger in the fridge which is often my go to!

  • I take skin off mine with a knife, and chop it into once centimetre pieces and freeze the excess. Great for smoothies!

  • I always use a pairing knife to peel it. I assume you need to peel it as the outside is more fiberous but you make a great point.

  • I use a small knife and chop it off. I’m not too fussy in getting it all off if I’m making ginger tea no just slice and put in the mug before pouring in the water. Just give a rinse beforehand

  • I just use a peeler, looking for other ways as well though

  • Sorry First line should be I am a CHEAT .

  • I’m a chest and use ground garlic and ginger . Hub likes his fresh ginger so when I have them I store them in the fridge to keep fresh then peel them with an everyday peeler and then you can slice or chop them or however you want to use them .

  • I’ve never peeled it I store it in the freezer & just grate it when I need it

  • I use a small sharp knife and just scrape it off.

  • When you use fresh organic ginger and wash it well, you don’t have to peel it.
