  • I was also going to suggest that clear nail solution that is used to stop nail biting.

  • There is a nail polish you can put on the finger nail and it tastes gross and is used for people who bite their nails, maybe it might work for thumb sucking as well

  • I hope you’ve had some improvement, if not give it time

  • How did it go Hope you were able to solve the issue

  • Best of luck :-)

  • Babies generally suck their thumb to
soothe themselves, which is good, because they need to learn how to rely on their own resources. The ability to regulate or control one’s behavior and emotions is an important developmental challenge. When your child sucks her thumb, she’s finding ways to make herself feel better without your help.

You don’t have to stop your child from sucking her thumb right now. In general, thumb-sucking is more irritating to parents than it is harmful to kids. Your baby will stop when she’s ready and has developed other ways of soothing herself.

  • Put gloves on… Or smere something on he does not like

  • Have you found out some ways yet about stopping thumb sucking? And is it working?

  • You could try a glove as well…

  • There is this nasty tasting stuff to stop nail-biting at your chemists

  • The dentist recently advised a thumb guard for our daughter as she is altering her bite by thumb sucking, they are expensive though.

  • That yuk tasting nail polish is horrible. That will do the job

  • You could just try to distract him every time he does it. Just take his hands and think of something fun.
Or u can always apply some of that anti nail biting cream on his thumb. It has a very bad taste and might make him stop doing. It
