Hello!

Hmmm…it’s the little things for me – we’re rationing our paper towel and wipes, much more pedantic about washing hands, cringe when I hear anyone cough or sneeze and press lift buttons with our elbow.
How about you?

  • My life didnt change as I had been dealing with my husband who had cancer so for 2 years before hand we had been using hand sanitizer and wearing masks. My cupboards were well stocked because I never knew when i would be able to leave him to go to the shops. He passed away and covid hit. I didnt need to go to the shops at all.

  • Not that much in my opinion. I think here in Australia it has impacted us little compare to other countries in the world; we’re blessed !

  • Fortunately our city wasn’t badly affected by covid-19, but I did worry when my husband was in Sydney for work. I’m glad he stayed safe.

  • Not too many changes for me. I do like to use sanitizer often now.

  • My life has virtually been unchanged – still looking after the family and doing things for them. Only ever went shopping once a week for necessities and wasn’t one to go to restaurants or cafes or coffee shops.

  • Having the kids home more has been nice to have more time with them
All the social stuff has stopped and I find myself at a loose end frequently

  • There aren’t any changes that we can’t cope with. Less shopping, no seeing friends, no going out to restaurants, bars or cafe. It’s amazing how well we can adapt when we need to.

  • Hmmm, I’m definitely aware of changes, but they haven’t affected us too much. I’m one of those shoppers that has a backup of most products in the cupboard, and groceries seem to be slowly returning to normal, so no impact there. I’m generally a solo person anyway so I’ll do just fine.

  • I haven’t been shopping for 4 weeks so perishable food is running low. My fridge is almost empty.
I have been staying home as I am prone to bad Hayfever there is so many flower in bloom and in some areas dry seedy grass. I got Hayfever at the beginning of March and still have a “phlem” cough, definitely not a dry one like the Virus is, I’m going to do a quick shop tomorrow during the time it is normally fairly quiet. I don’t want to do on-line shopping as I am on a special needs diet and manufacturers change their ingredients and I could have to return a lot of what I order. Companies take a long time to update their ingredients lists you can check via google. Our GP is now doing phone consultations. Some specialists are too.

  • We are finding our networks are pulling together and keeping in touch in a virtual way. Staying connected is so essential!

  • In some ways life hasn’t changed – still going to work etc. But I am missing the gym, seeing friends and my side job of fitness classes and LTS. Honestly I think I’m sick of being inside!

  • Life has changed but we are reading offical information and following rules. We have made changes and modifications to our life. We are being sensible with our resources but not buying into panic and hoarding. We are looking at all the things we can still do and appreciating them. We are staying connected to family and friends via technology. We are supporting businesses through online services. We are staying positive and supporting each other and family and friends. I hope this community is safe and supports each other too. Stay safe :)

  • We are only going out when absolutely necessary (to get supplies, etc) and then we are straight into the supermarket and straight out again. We have more than enough to keep us occupied at home so we are not going out anywhere else. We have always adhered to strict hygiene routines but are going over and above the health guidelines now. We miss socialising with our friends, but I would rather our friends, and us, are still here after all this to enjoy each others’ company again!

  • I work as an essential service and the hardest part is leaving my nine and fifteen year old to get on with their online schooling all by themselves.
Hubby and I are homebodies so that hasn’t changed much but I’m paranoid and feel anxious about everything i touch.

  • Yes totally agree I hate it when I hear someone cough or sneeze near me as I am still at work but distances between workers yet still here a cough or sneeze as walking past and you do question it a tad I think it just happens unintentionally
