  • Crazy how everything has turned out so far. One country with each state having different sets of rules. Seems there’s still a long way to go.

  • The only thing keeping me positive about this lockdown is the fact I am saving so much money. Also remembering that we are so lucky in australia compared to so many other countries. The lockdowns suck but its for our safety.

I am missing my family and friends so much! I missed out on celebrating my 30th with a party and it was really disapointing but im just so thankful our country hasn’t been devestated as much as some others

  • Really not affected us much only thing is that people are buying up big on Toilet Paper really strange

  • We had to cancel my daughter’s 18th birthday, but otherwise we coped quite well.

  • we live on a farm so lucky because we can get out and about and still work. We are finding it hard as we cant visit family and friends but spend lots of time FaceTiming and the children have even been writing letters to friends.

  • It’s more that we haven’t been able to make any major plans.

  • I had a holiday booked after a very long time could not go , but can’t complain we have been very lucky in Australia compared to rest of the world

  • We decided to get our kids Christmas presents VERY early (Monkey Bars), as my hubby and I are working from home and we were desperate for a non technology based activity that our 3 kids could do without us constantly monitoring them. Plus they were all missing their gymnastics lessons.

  • Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.Hubby’s 60th birthday coming up soon so no family celebration. Its sad but we all have to do what we have to do.

  • Just found out I’m pregnant so it’s a bit scary. Plus I want to see my family during this time. I’ll come out of iso with a new baby just about!

  • We’re sad that now some things for later in the year – October – have been cancelled. It’s probably the right decision, but it’s sad.

  • easter holidays no longer on the cards, but i realise so many others are doing it tough and so really I have nothing to complain about as myself and family are all healthy and well.

  • al doctors and specialist appointments have been on the phone which has saved so much time driving into the city finding a park (and the expense) waiting for appointment then driving home. it takes 20 mins instead of the usual 1.5hours round trip.

  • I was supposed to be visiting my grandson for his birthday on 30th March. Hoping to able to visit in August. Other then that, not much difference. I’ve never been the social type so I’m not missing it

  • Yes I was suppose to go into hospital for a Brain Tumor operation but hey that’s on hold now
