I really hope your little one has gotten use to the day care by now. My little one stopped crying after 2 days. (He goes 3 days a week to a family day carer.) Sure, there are the odd days when he cries and says he doesn’t want to go, but he’s usually fine within 5 minutes after drop off.

Our FDC told us that she’s looked after a child a couple of years ago who cried from the moment of drop off to his nap time, and then would start again from 3pm to when he was picked up. For 14 weeks. Yes, 14 weeks. But, then on week 15, he cried for 10 minutes in the morning, and stopped. No more tears after that day.

Different kids take different periods of time to adjust. I hope yours is now in a good routine and has fully adjusted to being at day care.
