  • There is no right and wrong age gap – depends on your helath, how your first birth went and how you recovered and of course whether you and your partner are ready for another. There are pros and cons for having them very close together and for also waiting. You will cope with whatever you decide. My first born was 22 months when we had our second and I was happy with the age gap. Still had all the baby stuff around. NOw they are 2 and nearly 4 years old, they are the best of friends and get along really well – and I have finally finished the ‘baby’ stage.

  • Also, it depends on your family and budget situation, many factors of families to consider.

  • This is completely a personal choice and it depends on what ever will work best for your family, the choice was made for us lol i was planning a 2 yr gap but baby wanted to come earlier and i fell pregnant when my first was about 7 months, we will have a 16 month age gap. this works for us but will wait a few years if we decide to have another one. :-)

  • I have an age gap of four years and its perfect for us. Each family/person is different.

  • It really is a personal choice for every family and depends on many factors. There is no set rule for the time between babies.
