Hello!

Has anyone used a professinal oven cleaner, that comes to your home? I’d like to know how much it costs (approx) and if it’s worth the expense. It is my least favourite job.

  • Professional cleaners generally charge around $50 an hour (although as with most things, it can vary a fair bit).

  • yeah $25 an hour for my cleaner friend. they will clean the oven or whatever else you want.

  • General cleaning costs about $25 to $40 an hour – I guess you could ask if they include oven cleaning.

  • Have you had any success with a quote or getting the oven cleaned?

  • Would love to know! I hate cleaning the oven!

  • It is my least favourite job but do l want to spend $80-,not sure!

  • I had no idea about this service – do it myself. Good luck finding someone to clean your oven.

  • I got a quote from ‘Jims’ oven cleaning and they said $80

  • Great post i would love to hear of on in geelong vic if anyone knows of one, i always end up with a asthma attack after cleaning mine due to breathing in the strong chemicals use in the oven cleaners.

  • It really depends on your location.
I’m in South Australia & I have a lovely cleaning lady who comes in once a week to tackle the tough jobs for $23 per hour & she always leaves my oven & stove top like new.

  • I have not actually ha it done but considered it last year. I was quoted just under $250 for a wide oven. I am not sure whether that s expenisive. This is in sydney.
