  • Kids made no difference to my social life. I didn’t have friends, still don’t, so I wasn’t busy socially at all. If anything, having kids got me out and about more as I was taking them places and dropping them at their friends or having their friends at mine

  • No where near as often as we used to. Its so much harder now that I have kids and some of them don’t

  • There’s an article on the mums site that has all the answers ???? I would say as often or as little as you like

  • Hardly ever, but I’m more of an Introvert. I speak to my friends daily via text but hardly ever in person. One good friend we try to see each other monthly

  • I barely do. No friends local enough really so maybe once every other month

  • I rarely caught up with some of my friends for about 12 months. Some moved and were too far away to go there and back in a few hours. By the time I got there with stopping on the way to feed my baby it was just about time to head home again.

  • Once every few months. Sometimes it’s just too hard to organise

  • It used to be a weekly face-to-face catch up, but we have just relocated Interstate so now it will be a weekly phone call. Depending on how busy you are with other commitments, weekly or fortnightly would be the norm.

  • Planning and booking in catch ups ahead of time helps with keeping up with friends.

  • I’m lucky most of my friends live close by so at least twice a week. However I did have one friend who passed recently. We had known each other for nearly 50 years but we would catch up on the telephone at least once a week.

  • Whenever I can – I like catching up with friends.

  • No where near enough lucky to physical see them in person once or twice a month between mixed work schedules kids sports etc
