  • I used to do weekly or more often even, but currently my life is so busy that I don’t catch uo with friends anymore :(

  • Sad to say but I don’t have any friends to even chat with these day and that would include siblings its that they just don’t bother

  • Not very often these days, but I’m hoping we’ll see each other more as we are all starting to reach retirement age.

  • Once every 2 months usually. We are all busy with life, kids & work :)

  • Once we had kids? Maybe once a month, if we are lucky. Life gets busy but we are still great friends. Some parts of the year it can be more often and some, less often.

  • Ive found my close friends and I catch up a lot from October through to December
    Ex work friends yearly
    Sport friends during the season
    School friends yearly

  • very rarely – less than once a month!

  • On weekends or sometimes monthly

  • We all keep up to date online by messenger, i have 4 kids all my high school mates have children or are working 24/7 depending on the time of year… probably minimum of once every 6 or so weeks???? not very often and it sucks, but i have also had car troubles which has held ,e back from visiting, and life is jusf so hectic!

  • My friends and i all have kids aged between 7 and 11. There are 4 of us and we have been friends since high school. it was much easier to catch up when our kids were babies as we had time away from work- we would catch up, bubs in tow, for a coffee.
These days we try and schedule in a dinner date every 2 months. A Night out where there are no kids (and no partners). we eat nice food, drink wine and generally catch up. Depending on life it may get postponed and end up being 3 months but we still make sure it happens and make the most of our time together. These catch ups have been my saving grace over the years! friend time is soooooo important!

  • Very very rarely – I don’t have any local friends, mine all live elsewhere :(

  • One friend every few weeks. The others, every few months if not more

  • I pretty much lost the remainder of my friends once I had a kid 10 years ago as they didn’t have babies then. now they all just seem to be facebook friends as im the only ones that make contact, so unless I ask how are you, I dot hear anything. so I technically have no IRL friends and im ok with that

  • I actually don’t see my friend as often as I should! It’s usually once every month or 2… I am quite lonely at times and struggle to meet new people. We all get lost in our home and work duties and I don’t about anyone else but when I finally get a day at home all I want to do is sleep!

However, it’s healthy to make an effort to socialise even if it’s only on the phone

  • Kids made no difference to my social life. I didn’t have friends, still don’t, so I wasn’t busy socially at all. If anything, having kids got me out and about more as I was taking them places and dropping them at their friends or having their friends at mine
