A friend of mine has a 13 month old who had his first walk with a walking trolley yesterday. Isn’t that late?

  • Walking isn’t considered late until after 18 months. Every kid is different and focuses on different things. While one baby might walk at 10 months another might walk at 15 months but the second baby can say more words or has focused on a different area of development. And you won’t necessarily see that area. They might just have a better understanding of how the world works or patterns of behaviour etc.

  • My daughter was standing at 11 months, but didn’t walk till she was 14 months. They all have different time frames I guess.
