My sink never seems too sparkle, it always seems dull…does anyone have any suggestions ? I used Jiff but it took a while to remove residue. Thanks

  • Oh I know this one!!! Baking Soda and Vinegar, make a paste. Pop it on the sink, wipe with cloth, and then a damp tea towel to get the rest of the white residue away. Stunningly clean!

  • I need to do the same, love a sink that sparkles!

  • For mine, I simply use dishsoap and just wash it with that, rinse completely, and dry with a tea towel or paper towel =)

  • Bi Carb And vinegar. or an eraser

  • I like to use Gumption and I also like to use stainless steel cleaner I buy from the auto shop. I use orange peel last as it gives the sink a great smell and shine.

  • heaps of great answers here

  • Get a cheap 1 litre spray bottle from a $2 store, add 100 ml white vinegar and fill with water. Cheap & incredibly effective cleaner for stainless steel, cupboards, benches, tiles, glass, mirrors, you name it, it cleans it. And no nasty chemicals.

  • Mine is the same!! Think ill steal some of this advice

  • must try these helpful hints for my sink

  • We used Autosol metal polisher on friends rental properrty’s sink. Now nice & sparkly

  • Lemon juice and bicarb soda.

  • I got some cloth wipes that you use on any stainless steel items from coles think its $4 for 20 wipes and it leaves the stainless steel looking like new :)

  • Great ideas ,I will be trying a few, sinks are hard keep shiny

  • Just seen something in my FB feeds saying to sprinkle cornflour onto sink and rub with a damp sponge. Haven’t tried it myself but it’s worth a shot. Doesn’t scratch either.

  • I use gumption but every so often I use a stainless steel polish that gives it a shinier surface.
