How to get my Ms 2.5year old to not be scared to go potty/toilet?

Hello!

So I’ve been trying to get my daughter to be familiar with the toilet. I encourage her for whenever she needs to go she has to tell me. My issue is she refuses to sit down on the potty or the toilet. She tells me she is scared. I have purchased a wiggles toilet seat in hoping it will lure her into sitting down but so far I have no luck. Any tips will be amazing!!

I never used a potty, I found it better to use a training seat on the toilet. Allow her to see you go and offer a special toilet related reward like some special big girl undies that she can use when she learns to toilet. Something with a character is good so you can say things like ‘you need to go toilet because Elsa doesn’t want to be peed on’. It takes time and encouragement but persevere and she’ll get there.
