  • I always point the air vents towards the windscreen and it tends to de-mist windows.

  • I have heard you wipe the insides down with dish detergent. I’m pretty sure I’ve actually seen cloths sold that you wipe windows with to prevent the mist

  • From memory, I think you wipe them down with dish detergent. But don’t quote me, I always picture streaky windows using this

  • It depends whether your are talking about the inside or exterior surface of your windscreen and other windows. Outside you can put rainex in your windscreen washer bottle under the bonnet and use your windscreen wipers etc to clean it.

  • Say hello to Rainex – brilliant stuff!

  • Wash the windows with shaving cream or spray with hairspray

  • We have been de-fogging the windscreen by turning on the window fan ( symbol of window with squiggle lines ) when you start the car , the mist will start to disappear on the screen , You can do the one on the backwindow as well . See you instuctions manuel

  • I’m not sure if cleaning your windows with vinegar will help.

  • There are sprays you can buy, I’ve seen them mostly in mail order catalogues, but I’m sure you could find them in auto shops or servos. You spray it on and wipe with a clean cloth. They work

  • Rainex is brilliant

  • there’s a product called rainex – it is magic and we all use it in our family. On motor bike helmets too

  • I use a potatoe cut in half rubbed on the inside of the windscreen and side windows. Also handy for out side if the wipers not working for light rain, water is repelled. Glad do not have to worry about this anymore, now I live when the glass does not fog up unless something hot is being carried in the car.

  • you can buy an anti-fog solution from car stores or big w

  • Good luck!

  • I have also heard about the potato trick, might give it a go myself
