Hi, I’m running out of inspiration for what dinners to prepare for my 14 month old! I would love to prepare some quick and easy toddler meals. Can you or any mums out there recommend some good (and quick and easy) toddler cook books please? Thanks!

  • Whatever we ate was mashed. It could be potatoes, rice or pasta, any meat , vegies . If you are worried about oil etc, you could even just boil them and then mash it with a fork , but they may find it boring at a certain stage. Very easy and blends in with your meal routine .

  • Really interesting reading the comments given to this!

  • there are some good comments here

  • I don’t know of any toddler cook books but good to be trying what you are having (of course, depends on what you are having too). Easy to mash some of your veggies and try them on small amounts of soft meats.

  • how did it go for you?

  • Hope you manged to find some good meals.

  • Our daughter mainly has what we have now which is much easier – I just mash some of the veggies. She loves lasagne, pasta, just veggie mash on its own (different veggies kept separate helps), chicken mince and veg, eggs and she loves custard for dessert

  • I hope you managed to get some good ideas.

  • Pasta, vegies, sausages etc. :)
