Hello!

I use clinical protection deodorant, but even that doesn’t get me through the whole day.

  • Bathe daily. Regular bathing, especially with an antibacterial soap, reduces the growth of bacteria on your skin.
Choose clothing to suit your activity. For daily wear, choose natural fabrics, such as cotton, wool and silk.
Try relaxation techniques, stress causes sweating
    Change your diet.
    Seek advice from your doctor

  • I know this isn’t the deodorant recommendation, but consider your diet and stress levels, which can impact body odour. I know there are some foods that impact the way people smell. TBH, I started using coconut oil and it did seem to work, as it neutralised some of the bacteria that causes the BO. I get some smelly days, but my body has become less reliant on deodorants now, which means I can go most days without deodorant.

  • I used to have the same issue. I found one that is reasonably priced & seems to work well. Norsca in a green roll on container, I believe it’d unisex. It’s the only one that works for me

  • Maybe extreme – but if it’s really bad and deodorants don’t help you can have botox i think in the armpits which stops sweating and consequently odour.

  • I also recommend you try NO PONG if this fails a good talk to your GP is needed.

  • Definintly Clinical Protection. This covers you through hormonal body odour changes through peri menopause too

  • I’ve heard using lemon juice can help.
Are you washing your clothes after you wear them each day as this can also contribute to the smell?
Doctors usually recommend wearing breathable fabrics and keeping your armpit hair as close to the root as possible so that bacteria and sweat can’t stick to it.

  • I tried using clinical strength with no success, I now use the mitchum natural deodorant and have had no smells!

  • I would Personally speak to my female doctor about the issue and see if I have a health problem or it’s something hormonal causing this if it was me. Maybe there’s an actual specialist in this area. I know people take Botox injections to stop it for severe cases.

  • My daughter has botox injections in her armpits. Needs to be done regularly to sustain, but she generally has it done coming into summer to avoid the worst of it

  • I have found the rexona clinical strength roll on liquid to be the best for me. If you’re already using clinical strength ones, you may need to reapply during the day. There is a product that is supposed to last up to a full week. I cannot remember what it is called though. Have a quick look in google – it was about $25 dollars. Hope you can find something that helps you.

  • I second no pong, I used to have bad sweat but after having my daughter (7yr) it just turned into bad bio I use no pong and can only wash myself with body shop or Sukin

    Hope this helps

  • I agree with a natural, preferable organic deodorant. Personally I don’t use deodorant at all.

  • I do t have advice but would like a solution too

  • Clinical protection deoderant? Does that contain aluminum as an ingredient? You may need to do a heavy metal detox. Pure Body Extra is what I use but there are lots of different ones available. Switch to a natural based aluminium free deodorant and it should reduce within a few weeks then eventually get to the point you don’t even need deoderant. I haven’t needed to use it in around 4 years now, I use to use it regularly before that. Other things to consider limit alcohol and processed food, it could be your diet causing the issue try adding some more fruit and veg.
