  • Board games or maybe aquatic gear.

  • I see so many questions like this. It’s a nearly impossible to answer as we know nothing of your kids likes and dislikes. I’m sure you solved the problem by now

  • Maybe you could set them up with experiences as birthday presents and save the toys for Christmas. Kids always love going to playcentres, trampoline parks, farms/zoo, mini golfing so you could always give them a coupon with an explanation that you will take them to ‘blah blah’ with this voucher. I would also get a token soft toy or book as all kids that age love unwrapping presents.

  • Take them out to a play centre and join their birthdays or not maybe you could take them to a movie

  • What about an experience like taking them to the local timezone arcade?

  • Could also be a subscription to a magazine like “National Geographic Kids”.

  • Sorry, lack of sleep – just realised I had a few bits in there that didn’t make sense lol I hope you can understand the gist of it!

  • What about getting a few small toys or books etc, but then doing some fun gift card/experience boxes up so you can take them through the year to do those things? For example, a box with some snacks, drinks, popcorn and a movie voucher, or a new teddy and take them on a teddy bears picnic to a park they haven’t been to before with their friends? A zoo membership/tickets? If you have a toy library near to you, you could get a membership there (only around ($30 for a family) and then every few weeks you can get some new toys to keep them happy through the year? or a massive If they are creative, what about a plastic container filled with stickers, paint, colour paper, glitter, glue, pompoms, eyes etc, so they can have a craft box- there’s hours of fun there! If wanting to buy a physical gift for them, I got some ‘Lightstax’ the other day and they are so amazing! They are like lego, and are fully compatible with lego, but they light up, so the structures you build can either flash, or stay on. They are really fun to play with and different too! I hope something here helps you out a bit! Buying for kids as they get older is so hard!! Good luck

  • What about new clothes like PJ’s or bathers?maybe a fun board game or something they can play with outside@

  • Books. I would definitely go with books depending on her taste.

  • Outdoor play stuff. Swing set, trampoline, seesaw, cubby house.
