Include your child in baking or cooking – get them mixing or cutting up food with a child-safe knife like the Kiddie Cutter.

Pick up boxes from places like bunnings for imaginative games like turning the box into a car or a play house or garage for the toys/cars.

Give the child a bucket and a cheap paintbrush to “paint the house” or “paint the fence” using just water.

Make musical shakers out of plastic containers, old kinder eggs and beans or rice. (Tape these up so kids can’t put the small things into their mouths.)
